Privacy Policy

toggle Holdings Inc. and its group companies (hereinafter collectively referred to as "our group") have established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information.

Article 1 (Personal Information)

"Personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Personal Information Protection Law, meaning information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in such information, as well as data related to appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and insurer numbers of health insurance cards (personal identification information).

Article 2 (Method of Collecting Personal Information)

Our group may ask for personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when users register for use. We may also collect transaction records and payment information, including users' personal information, between users and partners (including information providers, advertisers, ad delivery destinations, etc., hereinafter referred to as "partners").

Article 3 (Purpose of collecting and using personal information)

The purposes for which our group collects and uses personal information are as follows:

1. To provide and operate our group's services
2. To respond to user inquiries (including identity verification)
3. To send emails about new features, updates, campaigns, and other services provided by our group that the user is using
4. To contact users as necessary for maintenance, important notices, etc.
5. To identify users who violate the terms of use or attempt to use the service for fraudulent or improper purposes, and to refuse their use
6. To allow users to view, change, or delete their registration information and view their usage status 7. To charge users for usage fees in paid services
8. For purposes incidental to the above purposes.

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)

Our group will only change the purpose of use of personal information when it is reasonably recognized that the new purpose is related to the original purpose. In the event of a change in the purpose of use, we will notify the user or publicly announce the new purpose on this website by the method prescribed by our group.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

Our group will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations.

1. When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the person's consent
2. When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the person's consent
3. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, local government, or a person entrusted by them to carry out affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the person's consent may impede the execution of such affairs
4. When the following matters have been announced or disclosed in advance, and our group has notified the Personal Information Protection Commission:

* Including provision to third parties in the purpose of use
* Items of data provided to third parties
* Means or methods of provision to third parties
* Stopping the provision of personal information to third parties at the request of the person
* How to accept requests from the person

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases do not fall under the category of third parties:
1. When our group entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
2. When personal information is provided due to business succession through merger or other reasons
3. When personal information is jointly used with a specific person, and the person has been notified in advance or is in a state where they can easily know the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use of the users, and the name or title of the person responsible for managing the personal information.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

"When requested by the person to disclose personal information, our group will disclose it to the person without delay. However, if disclosure falls under any of the following, we may not disclose all or part of it, and if we decide not to disclose it, we will notify the person without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per case will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.
* When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the person or a third party
* When there is a risk of significantly hindering the proper execution of our group's business
* When it violates other laws and regulations
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in principle, we will not disclose information other than personal information, such as history information and characteristic information."

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

If a user's personal information held by our group is incorrect, the user may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") of the personal information through the procedures specified by our group. If our group deems it necessary to respond to the request, we will correct the personal information without delay. We will notify the user without delay when corrections are made or when it is decided not to make corrections.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

"If our group is requested by the individual to suspend or delete the use of personal information (hereinafter referred to as ""suspension of use, etc."") on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the intended use or that it was obtained by improper means, we will promptly conduct the necessary investigation.
Based on the results of the investigation, if we determine that it is necessary to comply with the request, we will promptly suspend the use of the personal information.
We will notify the user without delay when the suspension of use, etc., has been implemented or when it has been decided not to implement it.
Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if the suspension of use, etc., involves a large cost or is otherwise difficult to implement, and if alternative measures necessary to protect the user's rights and interests can be taken, we will take these alternative measures."

Article 9 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

"The contents of this policy may be changed without notice to the user, except as otherwise provided by law or in this policy.
Unless otherwise specified by our group, the revised privacy policy will take effect when posted on this website."

Regarding Joint Use of Personal Information within Our Group

toggle Holdings Inc. and its group companies (hereinafter collectively referred to as "our group") may jointly use personal information handled by each group company within the group.

1. Purpose of use

(1) Personal information regarding customers, business partners, and partner companies (hereinafter referred to as "customers, etc."):

  • To respond to inquiries and requests from customers, etc.
  • To provide and enhance information and services handled by each group company
  • To invite customers to seminars, product briefings, and exhibitions hosted or sponsored by each group company
  • To request participation in customer satisfaction surveys and other questionnaires

(2) Personal information regarding officers and employees of each group company:

  • For personnel management, education, training, and other necessary group management tasks
  • For necessary communications in group management operations

2. Items of Personal Information for Joint Use

Our group will jointly use only the minimum necessary personal information items required for business execution, such as name, company name, address, phone number, email address, and other items necessary to achieve the purpose of use, regarding customers, etc., and officers and employees of each group company.
